Day Four - Port Elizabeth to George - Monday 6th May 2013

The day began with a mad scramble to get packed and out of the flat in time for Sarah to be at school by 7.45 am. Paul took the N2 all the way to George, while we opted for the Langkloof section of Route 62 that takes you through Kareedouw and Joubertina towards Uniondale. It was a really good choice, while Paul reached George 2 hrs before us, we went through wonderful countryside and majestic passes, the last one being the best, entering George through the Outeniqua Pass with the town spread out in front of you and the sea in front of the town is a lovely way to end any journey. It helped that the whole trip was in gloroious sunshine.
Our breakfast host, Hans, the Sweaty Dutchman in Kareedouw
 In the Langkloof after Kareedouw
Overlooking George from the Outeniqua Pass
Looking back over the mountain range from the same view spot.

After lunch Paul took us for a ride on the old road that linked George and Knysna. We stopped for a walk down to a little stream.
Paul and Bruce next to the bike before we crossed one of the old bridges built in 1912 to cross the streams on that road,
