Day Two - Gonubie to Port Elizabeth - Saturday 4th May 2013

We had a lie-in and only left Gonubie around 8am. We initially thought the weather looked fair and fine, but once we turned round and faced the direction we were travelling we saw a bank of dark clouds ahead and on the road we were buffeted about by strong winds. We ran into rain as we entered the Keiskamma Pass which was a pity because the scenery is spectacular, and that part of the coast is full of coves and small inlets which we were unable to see clearly or take pictures of. We stoped for a late breakfast in Port Alfred and from then the rain lifted and we dried out as we continued to PE. Arriving a lunchtime, we went to Sarah's flat and then she and Bruce took a ride up the coast to the seaside village of Schoenmakerskop in beautiful sunshine. After that we visited Bridge Street Brewery and a small restuarant and gallery in central PE for dinner.
