Day Seven - George to Mossel Bay and back - Thursday 9th May 2013

The weather pundits had predicted rain for today and when it started falling the night before we thought they had probable got it right for a change. There was a light rain when we woke up, but by 8 o'clock the clouds were rolling away and we decided to brave a short day trip.

We set off for Mossel Bay on the old road that runs past the airport rather than the freeway and enjoyed a traffic-free trip along the coast to Brak River. After that we joined the freeway to Mossel Bay and had a wonderful cup of coffee at Baruch's before setting off for the Robinson Pass, followed by pizzas at the bottom of the Outeniqua Pass. Once again the scenery was spectacular and the Cape roads are in good condition and a pleasure for bikers to ride on.

Paul and Bruce consider swapping our bike for Baruch's tricycle
